Sexual Health
Our Sexual Health service offers a wide range of multidisciplinary services to treat, screen and educate people about sexually transmitted infections (HealthyWA).
This is a free service – a Medicare card is not required – and travellers are welcome at all clinics.
Our services include:
- testing and management of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and blood-borne viruses (Healthy WA)
- contact tracing (Healthy WA)
- counselling for sexual health related concerns (post diagnosis-of an STI such as herpes or genital warts)
- telephone information
- safe sex advice (Healthy WA)
- community education
- HIV chemoprophylaxis – PrEP/nPEP.
Please be advised sexual dysfunction services are not offered.
Please do not attend if you have any respiratory symptoms.
Our clinics operate on both a walk-in and appointment basis.
Please note you need to book an appointment for HIV chemoprophylaxis PrEP or HPV treatment – these are not provided to walk-in patients.

You do not need a general practitioner (GP) referral to attend our clinics. However, if you have a referral, please phone 9431 2149 so you can be booked to see the most appropriate clinician.

Booked appointments are available Monday to Friday. Please phone 9431 2149 to make an appointment.
For HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) a booked appointment is required.
Walk-in clinic (no appointment required)
The walk-in clinic is open:
- Tuesday 9:00am to 11:30am and 1:30pm to 3:30pm
- Wednesday between 1:30pm and 3:30pm.
We encourage you to arrive early to ensure you can be seen on the day. Please note on rare occasions the clinic may close early if it reaches capacity.
Please note you will not be seen at the walk‑in clinic if you already have a booked appointment
If your health needs change and you feel you need to be seen before your booked appointment, please call the clinic triage nurse on 9431 2149.
Two outreach clinics offering services to young people under 26 years of age are located at Armadale and Rockingham. These clinics are run in partnership with Headspace.
You do not need a referral to attend these clinics.
